Hi I’m interested in computer courses to study, today I spoke to someone from one of the unis I was interested in one of the courses were more about designing and the other practical and more technical fixing and support the system. I’m really interested in that. Its called computer enterprising. .

But I want to apply to more but I get confused as every university calls the computer courses a different name. So i’m unsure if its software , or computer science , IT , IS with business. I think it could be IS with business what I’m interested in but I’m unsure. In some of the modules in the enterprise one has : information systems,computer programming ,data management , software testing , human computer interaction. developing internet applications supporting the systems kinda thing

Which computer course would include that sort of things? Its one of the practical and technical I want I’m not interested in designing. And can anyone tell me from this which computer courses is more like the one i described is it Information technology with business or something else? And is Computer science based on designing the applications? and not the more practical

Hey whats up I made restore discs/recovery discs for my computer and now they are lost – Is there anyway to create another set? I am flat out of cash to and my computer is running so slow what can I do???

When I click on "My Computer", the little flashlight goes back and forth searching and searching and finally after several minutes shows my drives. Sometimes, even then, it does not recognize portable storage devices connected to a USB port. This problem began several months ago, but before that, as soon as I double-clicked "My Computer", the drive icons would show up. My computer is about 3 years old.

Is a Desktop Computer the same as opposed to a Personal Computer? I know a Personal Computer is abbreviated as "PC" but what about a typical Desktop Computer? Does it mean the same thing at all??

I have a Dell computer running Microsoft Vista that’s about a year old. I wish to erase the hard drive and put the original software back on it. I have four cds that came with the computer. One with the operating system, another with application software, and two with drivers and utilities. I’ve gone to computers and tried formating the hard drive, and it won’t let me. What do I need to do?

I want to transfer the music on my iPod to another computer, but when I click "transfer music" it says I need to go on to the store and click authorize computer from the menu. When I go on to the store and menu I can’t find anything that says "authorize computer." I am logged into my account already too.

I have a compaq laptop and I want to put some pictures from my digital camera on my laptop, but I am not sure how. One site said I should be comfortable with how files are stored and organized on my computer. Does anyone know how this works on this type of computer? Or any type of computer in general?

Do they sell Macs at Target? And if not, I will have to settle for a diff computer. I have not researched it, so what computers would be really good if I cant get a mac?

I’ve attempted to download Pokemon Mystery Universe to my computer and every time I start it, whether by saving it first or just running it, an error comes up. I’ve tried restarting the computer and the same thing happens. Does it have special requirements and if so, what are they?
