Starting Nov. 1st 2010 Xbox live gold membership will be raised from 49.99 to 59.99 yearly. 3 months will be 19.99 to 24.99 and month to month will be 7.99 to 9.99 here are the deals www.joystiq.com microsoft is raising xbox live membership prices. do you think its a good idea bad idea. are you guys happy about or pissed about it. are you guys going to renew your membership with xbox live?

I already ordered 2 from newegg today this is just comple highway robbery by M$.I think the next thing will be no xbox live service after dark lol its madness!If there gonna up the price by 10 then we should atleast get something like a youtube app,1 free movie rental a month or free xbla games.

Yo know what.I had a ps3 blu ray went out after a yr and a half.I have been on the x box bandwaggon for 3yrs now.I just bought the slim i think this will be the nail in the coffin for me .i might just sell this 360 and go back to psn.Microsoft are greedy son of a bitches.I hate them now..bastards im not gonna keep paying for ads…

Xbox live should be free to begin with. they can charge me for facebook, twitter, last fm, netflix, hulu plus, ESPN, discounts on the store, that i don’t care if they charge me for that. but to be able to play your games online and chat with your friends playing a different game, that i expect to be free. ive been doing that with steam for at least 4 years. (yeah, im new to PC gaming)

I just don’t see the benefit to xbox live. I’ve had an xbox 360 many different times. All either broke or SOMETHING was wrong with it. Picked up a ps3 slim when it came out and haven’t had a problem since. I’d feel incredibly ripped off every month having to pay for something that’s free somewhere else

i prefer psn because i cant get a job yet,15, and i pay for everything myself. paying for online is another game i could be getting. personally i dont care about features, dont get me wrong i like them, but there not in the game im playing. im more into gaming instead of cool features. so i go with free gaming,psn

Yo,its better cuz if microsoft earns more money,u will get more exclusive games on 360 and with better quality,like ff13 which is a port from ps3 and even looks the same.Then u will get MGS rising i guess with better quality than ps3,for those who think that mgs is impossible in xbox 360 are wrong.
And all multis are better on 360,so its okay paying membership,you get what you paid for man.
